I started knitting in September of 2005.  I really didn’t need another hobby since I quilt, sew clothes, and have two horses.  So why did I start knitting? My mom gave me a copy of Cat Bordhi’s Treasury of Magical Knitting.  It piqued my interest and I just had to try it.  I haven’t looked back since!

From moebius scarves to fingerless gloves to short row scarves, I have continually expanded my skills with each project.  I made a scarf from sticky mohair, started knitting socks, did a few cables, and learned to kitchener.  I am completely self taught with the help of books and website tutorials. I am already thinking about how fun it will be to try fair isle knitting and a lace project.
