After my week of non-knitting, I unenthusiastically decided I should at least finish the second pair of Newfoundland Mitts. Here they are:

I still love the pattern and finishing them was almost instant gratification. Afterwards I immediately re-cast on for the brown Winter hat. Again, not a lot of enthusiasm, just something to do. This should be a quick, mindless knit now that I have needles one size larger.
