Swirl Scarf

My Swirl Scarf is finished. This was a little bit fiddly to knit, but you get past that after you’ve knit 3 or 4 hexagons. Then you find yourself in “just one more” mode. The tough part was blocking it! That nearly gave me fits trying to get it even. I like how it turned out; it should be a fun one to wear since it will go with so many solid colors.

Pattern: Swirl Scarf by Lijuan Jing.
Yarn: Jojoland Melody Superwash
Needles: US 6 (4.00 mm) circulars
Notes: As you can see I decided to make my scarf 2 rows wide instead of 3. I had 2 skeins of yarn and simply knit each row as long as I could which turned out to be 17 hexagons. My hexagons are 4.25″ wide. I’d probably go down a needle size if I were to knit this again as a scarf, just to have a tighter knit hexagon. As a shawl I think this needle size would give it nice drape.
