Hamamelis (aka Witch-hazel) Shawl

Finally, I finished a project. And actually, the only other project I have on the needles (the blue socks) is almost done too. I’m excited that I get to start something NEW this week.

Hamamelis Shawl

Pattern: Hamamelis Shawl by Kirsten Kapur of Through The Loops.
Yarn: Blackberry Ridge Silk Blend Laceweight
Needles: US 6 (4.00 mm) circulars
Notes: I used 56.3 grams, approximately 350 yards. With that amount I was only able to do 3.5 repeats of chart 2 and 1.5 repeats of chart 3. Blocked to 49” wide by 24” deep.

While I was working on it I was concerned it would be too small, but now that it’s blocked and I see how it fits my dress making form I’m very happy with the size.

It really quite a nice size for a smaller shawl – and you know I’m loving the color too! πŸ™‚
